Amazon prime has decided to get worldwide and even exceed the number of countries that Netflix is present in and to further this plan the OTT video streaming platform launches in Canada. Other video streaming services such as Netflix and Bell’s CraveTV will face tough competition from this launch in Canada.
The service will offer the same services to Canadian users as that of to subscribers in other countries with $8.99 monthly and $99 annual membership with free shipping on Amazon purchases. It is noteworthy that the company recorded 63 million user base only in US in the 2016 Q2.
