Scaryo is a movie streaming platform specially designed to stream horror and creepy movies. Developed by VisionsKompagniet, it focuses on those horror movies that might never appear on TV but are really worth watching. To date, they have an enormous collection of over 1000 horror and thriller movies, that deal with multiple sub-topics like monsters, cannibals and zombies, psychological thrillers, toe-curling and repulsive movies. They cater to movies from various geographies including Asia, Eastern Europe, and America. 

VisionsKompagniet approached Muvi to develop a fully-customized streaming platform that can match the feel of horror movies. They wanted to implement PPV and subscription-based monetization models. They also wanted to develop their own mobile apps in the near future. 

Using Muvi One, they could develop the perfect streaming platform as per their business needs, without writing a single line of code. After the streaming platform, they are now working with us for developing their own iOS app too which will be published shortly.

Unique Features used / Customization / Integrations done:

1. Muvi CMS – Muvi One’s video CMS was used by Scaryo to upload, manage and stream horror videos to end-users. Our robust CMS lets users handle multiple devices, apps, and platforms, from a single admin panel without any coding requirements.

2. UX UI Customization– The User Interface of the web streaming platform was customized using Muvi One’s services to induce the creepy feel that was much needed for meeting the business needs. Also, brand identities like logo and brand colors were added to the website. 

Monetization Methods and Options: 

SVOD- Scaryo offers subscription plans to its viewers. The plans were created using Muvi One’s SVOD feature. 

PPV (TVOD)- Using Muvi One’s PPV monetization plan, our clients could create pay-per-view monetization for individual content of their platform.
