Walden University Stream is a streaming platform developed by Walden University for its students and the general public. It offers access to course lectures to its students from the comfort of their homes. Along with that, it offers some short educational videos and podcasts that are publicly available and can be accessed by anyone. 

Walden University approached Muvi as they wanted to create a VoD streaming platform where they could upload pre-recorded lecture videos, podcasts, and short videos. The viewers would be able to like or dislike the videos. Also, the students would have to log in to their user accounts in order to access the course videos, TV series, and other content. 

Using Muvi One, they could create their own branded Walden University Stream web platform, iOS mobile app, Roku Channel, and Apple TV app. Along with the long-form video content and video series, they also used the Muvi Minis feature to upload short-form video content to their platform. 

Unique Features used / Customization / Integrations done:

1. Muvi Minis – Using Muvi Minis, our customers can add short-form video content to their platform. The admins can trim and edit the videos to adjust their size. They can also upload the video directly from their phone. 

2. iOS Mobile App – Walden University used our iOS app development solution to create its own branded iOS application, Walden University Stream app, without writing a single line of code. 

3. Roku Channel – Walden University Stream is a feature-loaded Roku Channel. Using Muvi One, our customers can create a native Roku Channel with features like wishlist and favorites, auto-play next, kids mode, and more!

4. Apple TV App – Muvi One’s Apple TV solution lets customers create a native Apple TV app with features like in-app purchases, wishlists favorites, and more!
