PCCW’s OTT platform Viu is being launched in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Jordan and Egypt. The video on demand service is already available in markets including Indonesia, India, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
The service majorly offers international, local and regional entertainment on-demand including the Syrian, Egyptian, Khaleeji and Tunisian TV dramas. In the Middle East, content will be available free of charge, while premium content will be available to view without advertisements, after a monthly subscription fee.
