CMS (Content Management System)

CMS or Content Management System is a web interface which allows users to create, manage and publish digital content directly to the Web. Typically, it supports multiple users in a collaborative environment. The CMS allows users to create, edit and publish content from anywhere and at any time. Content management systems are categorized into four distinct types: component content management systems, Web group content management systems, Web content management systems and enterprise content management systems.

In addition to these four main types, there are also a number of specialized content management systems, such as live streaming services. Live streaming services are a type of CMS that is specifically designed for managing and delivering live video content. These services typically include features such as video encoding, streaming protocols, and player integration. Live streaming services can be used for a variety of purposes, such as broadcasting live events, streaming live video content to websites and apps, and even creating live video chat applications.
