What is STAS (Short-term Advertising Strength)?

STAS is a metric used to measure the immediate effectiveness of an advertising campaign. It is measured by taking the values such as The percentage of purchase among advertising exposed consumers DIVIDED BY The Percentage of purchases among non-exposed consumers. This figure is then multiplied by 100 obtaining a score where the result is larger than 100, suggesting a positive effect of the advertising.
