Instagram unveils online video streaming platform

Instagram is introducing its online video streaming platform, IGTV. The new video streaming platform will give viewers access to longer user-generated videos. With the launch of its online video platform, Instagram is all set to take on platforms such as YouTube, Snapchat discover, and Twitch.

Kevin Systrom, Chief Executive, Instagram was quoted, “Teens are now watching 40 percent less TV than they did five years ago. It’s time for video to move forward and evolve.”
