About Hackathon
Muvi Hackathon is a 9-hr non-stop development challenge that aims to test your skills in app development (Web). Join us for our online hackathon, build apps (Web) from the ground up in this hackathon and get a chance to win recognition,participation certificates as well as a job offer to work with Muvi!
The challenge of this hackathon is to Build a feature/app related to video/audio streaming. Any feature/app is fine. If you are good in coding, it’s relatively easy to learn.
You will have a maximum of 9 hours. You can use any technology stack (web,Java, Php, Python,Nodejs etc..), build any type of application for any purpose, code individually.
It’s fine if your application is not fully functional by the end of hackathon as long as the concept is clear and it’s somewhat functional and demonstratable.
The only restrictions are – it must be related to Audio/Video contents architecture and entire coding must start and finish at the hackathon, no code written prior to it.
Open to all developers (working or not working), coding gurus and recent graduates, who have a flair for coding and would like to shine in the spotlight and have their talent recognized by one of the biggest OTT Platform provider in the market internationally.

It doesn’t matter if your app works or not, as long as your concept is clear, the screens are there and it is able to deliver your idea at a basic level, it will qualify, having a completed app adds extra brownie points!

- Who can participate ?Existing Coders and Developers (Working or Not Working), Graduates with coding skills, Pass outs from Technical Institutes with Coding Skills, anyone and everyone who knows coding and can develop and present an app in under 9-hrs!
- What materials should I have ?You need to have your own Laptop with all the necessary software you need to help you finish your project. We won’t be able to provide you with any hardware or software help as it is an online hackathon.
- If I am already working with another company, can I still participate ?Yes, this program is open to all who have coding and development knowledge.
- Will I work alone OR with a team ?Alone(Individual)
- What languages / Database should I know or am allowed to use ?Anything and Everything, whatever you believe you are a Rockstar at and are comfortable using, you can use that to build the apps either for web.
- Will I be paid ?No, this is a challenge where you can participate and get participation certificates for all participants and job offer with Muvi! Apart from the same, there is opportunity to be mentioned in press and media.
- Are there any application fees ?No, there are no application fees.

No. You will have to start and finish a project within 9 hours. No previous code will be accepted. Using any previously written code OR copied from Internet will be immediately disqualified.
