Snapchat, the biggest social platform for streaming live stories has expanded its advertising portfolio to include a variety of live streaming video ads along with sponsored geofilters and sponsored lenses. According to an eMarketer report, the messaging service is set to make $935.5 million next year.
The report also predicted that Snapchat’s ad revenues will climb by 155% year on year in 2017. The service scored $366.7 million in ad revenues this year and is expected to grow 88.2% in 2018 to reach $1.760 billion by next year. currently Snapchat draws 95% of its video ad revenues from the US but plans to target other regions soon.
