All’s not well in the OTT paradise. Among consumers who cut the cord in the last two years but now express doubts over it and probably want to go back to Pay-TV, 2 out of 5 (almost at 39%) say sports channels are a reason to return, as per a new survey by Frank N. Magid Associates.

Adding to it, 9 out of 10 (that’s almost 88%) sports fans say they watch sports on a television set, with broadcast networks leading the way at 73% of respondents, followed by cable sports networks (62%) and general entertainment networks (60%). This is a considerable number and a red blip for OTT TV platforms that all has not been achieved. And that, the bar has been raised now.
