As cord cutting is progressing, live TV streaming on the internet is the logical evolution from it. According to a report on Bloomberg, YouTube could launch a new Live TV streaming service called Unplugged. It is expected that YouTube will come up cable TV channels like Comcast, Viacom, Fox and CBS. It is also reported that YouTube doesn’t want to launch the service until it can have the 4 major broadcast networks on board. They are looking to compete big with Sony and Sling TV. The video streaming giant is trying to price it within $35 per month which is being difficult for them. Hulu too has earlier confirmed its intentions of getting into the live TV space.
