According to a new report from the Broadcast Magazine, Dutch public broadcaster NPO is all set to launch its new VOD platform in September, 2017. This is going to be a separate platform from NLziet, which will operate cooperation with commercial broadcasters.
The new platform is said to have there usage options – anonymous where users search content on their own; registered where the NPO offers recommended content based on profile and usage; and paid having better image quality, no ads and extra features.
