AT&T announces the launch of its much awaited video on demand platform DirecTV Now by the fourth quarter of 2016. The service is said to stand strong at the likes of Sling TV, Hulu and HBO Now and come with a very aggressive pricing strategy.

The service is expected to come with a bundle of 100 premium channels and work through internet connected devices such as phones, tablets and TV boxes like Roku. The company believes this new service to be the big driver of video for them in 2017.
