World-wide IPTV subscriber numbers are growing at a better pace than last quarter, according to Point Topic. Around 3.7 million new IPTV subscribers were added in Q4 2015. IPTV service is mostly taken up by users from their broadband operators. “Focus on the newly acquired satellite TV services meant that the U.S. service provider AT&T saw its IPTV subscribers decline further, by 4.1% quarter on quarter,” the research mentioned. China and east Asia witnessed the highest growth rate than other regions, while North America did not see a growth.
