According to a new State of the Internet report, the global internet connection speeds and the broadband adoption metrics show a positive increase. The average online connection speed in Europe increased in all the countries surveyed year-on-year, with Slovenia (at 14.1 Mbps) posting the largest gain at 45%.
In about six countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Malta, Slovenia and Spain) out of total 28 surveyed, the average connection speeds grew at least by 25% in comparison to the last year. UK came out to have the highest average mobile connection speed in Europe, measured at 23.7Mbps (for the third successive quarter).
