Groove Music which is Microsoft’s music store is going to shut down both its Groove Music Pass streaming service and going to disable the ability to purchase songs and albums in the Windows Store.

Microsoft has collaborated with Spotify to move its Groove Music Pass customers to Spotify.

The actual app won’t go away anytime soon and will be available for playing back and managing music stored locally.
