Tata Motors, owner of Jaguar & Land Rover, started a unique marketing campaign by providing a Virtual Reality cardboard headset with a leading newspaper – The Times of India. A full front page ad of the new budget car, Tiago, represented by brand ambassador – Lionel Messi had the VR cardboard packed. Using the app and the VR box, users can watch a virtual drive of the new car. A 360-degree virtual streaming video is also available on YouTube. The VR video starts by showing the exteriors of the car, moves to show the interiors and then shows and gives information about the car while the user sits at the front seat virtually.
