Video streaming is happening on more than 80% of all smartphones. People aged under 25 consume twice the amount of time streaming videos than those over 25. The younger lot use YouTube for an average of 14 minutes a day compared to just 7 minutes of the older generation. Netflix is consumed on an average of 18 minutes a day by the young and only 8 minutes by the old. In terms of internet data for streaming videos, 6.2 GB is used by the younger group on their smartphones, while the older group is not far behind at 4.9 GB per month. Majority of this data is WiFi.
