The majority of parents of children aged between 4 and 12 oppose the use of Video on demand as a substitute for babysitters, according to a recent survey among parents whose children regularly watch VoD content from Maxdome. However, they value the advantage of being more flexible in terms of time and place.

88 percent of the respondents said they make sure that the TV is not on every day.

The duration of VoD use increases with the age of the child. While 40 percent of those aged between 4 and 6 watch at most 1 hour per day, 40 percent of children between 10 and 12 watch VoD for 1.5 hours per day.
