Vimeo-on-Demand-lets-content-creators-charge-for-videos

The internet-video company Vimeo has opened up a paid VoD catalog of about 16,000 titles to allow 3rd party publishers to sell or rent them directly on their sites. The online publishers linked with Vimeo are – CBS Interactive, The Atlantic and TEN : The Enthusiast Network – for the Vimeo On Demand Network. Under the program, publishers can embed videos in to article pages on their own storefronts and let users buy them from the syndicated player. An ability, that is not available with Apple’s iTunes and Amazon Video.
