Being Good
We copied this from Google’s “Don’t be evil” mantra, have no shame in copying something good 🙂.
It seems very simple and obvious, however, very difficult to stick to in our daily personal and work lives. Several external and internal factors challenge us to remain constantly good irrespective of the situation. We strive to remain good irrespective of the situation.
Presence
Being present or mindful is to (1) pay attention, (2) on purpose, (3) without judgement.
We don’t allow laptops (except for the host) and mobile phones in meetings. Very simple idea, but very few companies do it.
We strive to be “present” (be mindful) at every meeting and discussion. If the conversation is not relevant to us, we excuse ourselves. However, if we participate, we are fully prepared and present (mindful), take a genuine interest, without any distractions.
Ownership
We own our achievements and mistakes. No excuses.
Diversity
We embrace and encourage diversity in our people (race, gender) and ideas. We recognize diversity to be one of our strengths.
Creativity
Every problem can be solved in N number of ways. Thinking creatively helps us to find the most effective route. Plus, it’s more fun 🙂
