Finally, Apple Music records more number of paying subscribers than Spotify in the US. As per the reports, Apple Music counted almost 28 million paying subscribers in February, while Spotify just crossed the 26 million mark.
Spotify, a free ad-supported music streaming tier, has more than 207 million active users worldwide, out of which 96 million are paid subscribers. Although Apple Music touts only about 50 million subscribers worldwide, still it has got more paid subscribers in the US region.
The reports also stated that, Apple Music subscribers are increasing at a monthly growth rate of 2.6% to 3% while Spotify is struggling to grow at just 1.5% to 2% monthly.
