Telecom giant, AT&T is all set to launch second online video streaming service for its wireless customers. The newly unveiled WatchTV service offers viewers access to over 30 live TV channels from top cable networks.
According to AT&T, the new offering will be available “on virtually any smartphone,” as well as on certain streaming devices and, beyond the live channels, there will be 15,000 movies and TV shows available for on-demand viewing.
WatchTV will compete with video streaming platforms such as SlingTV, Netflix, CBS All Access, and with big cable providers like Comcast and Charter Communications.
