FuboTV is all set to expand its channel lineup and grow its customer base. It has raised $55 million in Series C funding spearheaded by Northzone along with 21st Century Fox, Sky and Scripps Networks Interactive. Total funding is about $75 million ever since it started in 2014.
With so many streaming video providers in the market, FuboTV has created quite a space for itself by offering specific verticals of content. Huge licensing fees result in video streaming providers to many times overlook those networks and their coverage.
FuboTV, since it is focused on sports and targets sports fanatics, invests in licensing sports networks exclusively without additional costs for traditional broadcast or cable networks.
FuboTV has apps on iPhone, iPad, Android, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku devices. It now provides the soccer skinny bundle at $35, which was earlier priced at $10/month with a package of more than 55 channels. Read More
