Things are heating up in the over-the-top market in Latin America. MTM London says that video market here is witnessing a double digit growth. Brazil is expected to overtake Mexico, the current leader by 2018. This would mean half a billion dollars in revenue. Argentina is the smallest market ($45 million last year), but with an expected growth rate of 36%, it is set to make a mark. Netflix specially, is ruling homes in both Brazil and Mexico – the biggest markets in the region. In fact, Brazil and Mexico are Number 4 and Number 5 on the global list too.
