According to a recent finding from Juniper Research, 4K entertainment’s over-the-top adoption is likely to soar high in the coming years. The research states that 4K ultra HD OTT services will attract around 189 million unique users worldwide by 2021, which is almost ten-fold as compared to just 2 million users currently.
4Ks mass market appeal will rise given the wider content availability, compatible devices in consumer hands and a broader access to high speed internet connectivity. This forecast means that by 2021, 1 out of ten US residents will be using 4Ks video streaming service, which clearly is a great figure for the company.
