Turner is all set to launch its first ever over-the-top subscription video streaming service this fall. The service will be called FilmStruck and will feature 1,000-Plus Titles. The titles collection for the new service will majorly include art-house and indie, being developed and managed by Turner Classic Movies and the Criterion Collection.
Turner is yet to decide on the pricing but the company plans to make it a competitively priced service. Some of the indie studio names you’ll see featuring on the service are Janus Films, Flicker Alley, Icarus, Kino, Milestone, Zeitgeist and movies from Warner Bros.
