According to eMarketer estimates, One in five US adults will not watch traditional PayTV programming in 2017. The total number of household subscribers to cable, satellite, and telco TV services will fall down 0.7 per cent to 98.7 million, according to the forecast.
An estimated 1.7 million US adults will cut the cable/satellite cords in this year, as most of them will opt for on-demand OTT services. The time spent watching traditional TV in 2017 will drop slightly to 4 hours and 1 minute per day.
