According to a latest research from subscription, billing and CRM specialist Paywizard, OTT subscriptions around the globe have increased from 25% to 45% in past 12 months and it expected to rise more during the Christmas time.
The study also states that 30% of all consumers surveyed intend to subscribe to subscription OTT platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Instant Video in the run up to Christmas this year, with 18% planning on subscribing for the first time and 12% on top of existing subscriptions.
