According to a recent Ofcom research, kids aged 5 to 15 years old spend more time online than in front of the TV sets. A report by UK broadcast regulator claims that in the past year, the time kids spent online weekly has increased from 1 hour and 19 minutes to 15 hours.

By contrast, the time spent watching TV was noted at 13 hours and 36 minutes per week, a decline of 1 hour and 12 minutes as compared to 2015. Whereas 5 to 7 year old’s still watched more TV, 8 to 11 year old’s spent the same amount of time, and 12-15 year old’s continued to spend more time online than TV.
