According to a new study by Limelight, if an online video buffers more than three times, 78% of the audience clicks away. Since there is a problem serving regular video, Virtual reality and 4K will have to wait some more. The other problem online streamers reported to have is poor quality of video, then the lack of device support for the selected video and long startup times.

The study also found out that Millennials (aged 18-35) stream more videos than any other, with 16% of them streaming more than 10 hours per week. Men stream more than women, with over 58% streaming two or more hours per week, as compared to only 45% of the women doing same.
