According to a recent report by The Diffusion Group (TDG), the penetration of Internet connected TVs has increased about 50 percent since 2013, to 74 percent at the end of 2016 from 50 percent in 2013 among US broadband households.
The penetration of connected TVs grew by 22 percent between 2013 and 2014, and another 15 percent between 2014 and 2015, slowing the growth to slight 4 percent.
