Kids in Australia spend more time Online than on TV

According to recent Roy Morgan survey, kids in Australia now spend more time online as compared to watching TV. Today’s Australian kids aged 6-13 years, spend an average of 12 hours per week using internet, almost double of some six hours spent in 2008. The time spent online for this age group has increased by some 42 minutes each year.

Internet usage for kids in Australia has overtaken TV viewing in 2016. In 2008, an average Australian youngster spent an average of 14.5 hours per week on television, which has declined to 10.5 hours per week in 2016.
