Live Video Ads draw more Engagement than TV or VOD: A Yahoo Study

With almost every business making a switch to the digital world, the demand for live videos has gone up very high. According to a Yahoo study, Live video advertising is increasing at the rate of 113% year on year. The study states that Live videos connect to viewer’s emotions and thus, draw in more involvement than any other online video player.

Ads viewed on live video are 75% more engaging than that of other ads viewed on-demand. According to the study, Ads shown on live content draw 481% increase in brand favourability and 77% increase in the purchase likelihood as compared to on-demand ads.
