Reflecting on the changing viewing habits of consumers over an existing broadband connection, CenturyLink states that over the top video has huge potential to be the main delivery mechanism for video services.
The company began the trial of an OTT platform outside of its Prism footprint early this year in four markets and it plans to roll out OTT option to various markets early next year. Looking at the growth prospective, the company also plans to drive massive broadband growth over time and OTT video will enable them to drive broadband growth.
