According to Media investment management group GroupM, UK advertising is going to see its eighth successive year this year. The company expected UK advertising market to grow from 6.3% in 2015 to 7.2% for 2016, and from 5.8% to 7.2% for 2017, leading to a total investment of £18.8 billion in 2017.
According to the research, digital display demand is going to rise both in linear as well as on-demand services landscape, by 15% 2017 predicatively. Pure-play online video advertising is approaching £10 billion. Digital advertising is expected to grow by 18% in 2016 and 15% in 2017.
