According to a poll by TVfreedom and The Harris Poll, 61% were of the opinion (strongly agreed) that Pay TV services are overpriced. Around 25% ‘somewhat agreed’ that pay TV is expensive. Most users were of the opinion that they shouldn’t have to pay for a bundled package containing telephone, internet and TV to get the value for money prices. The costs of DVR and set top boxes are high according to most internet users, and a clear easy-to-understand pricing option is desirable.
