US video streaming giant, Netflix has signed an agreement with Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC) for providing content to UAE users. Under this agreement, Netflix’s subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) content will be available across the operators’ TV and mobile services, beginning this month. The deal will allow Virgin and du mobile users to pay for Netflix subscriptions through their monthly mobile bill.
Anthony Shiner, Chief Digital Lifestyle and Innovation Officer, EITC quoted, “Our partnerships are key catalysts in making EITC a world-class organisation and facilitating growth plans in the UAE.”
