According to the latest study from Multiscope, the Dutch audience watched an aggregate of 472 million minutes of Netflix per day throughout 2017. With this, the watch duration for VoD (Video-on-Demand) content has overtaken that of linear television in the country.
At 472 million viewing minutes a day, Netflix accounts for a staggering 32% of the total VoD watch duration. The next OTT platform in the list is YouTube at 18%. Approximately 5.6 million Dutch viewers watch Netflix for an average of 84 minutes per day.
Netflix has an estimated 1.12 million households in the country, with 1.43 viewers per household, a majority of which fall in the age range of 18 to 34 years.
