According to a research from The Battle for the North Amercian Couch Potato report by Company & Markets and Convergence, OTT revenues in US are expected to grow by 31% to $6.7B. While traditional cable, satellite and other payTV saw only a 3% growth in 2015, to $105 billion. It is expected that it will grow only 1.9% in 2016.

OTT giant Netflix has had nearly 45 million subscribers in 2015, and is expected to get 1.75 million more in Q1 of 2016. There has also been a rise in cord cutters from 1.27M to 2.1M in 2015. That number is expected to touch 2.08M in 2016.
