Spotify has launched video services. Originally founded as music apps (like Pandora), Spotify too has taken the cashing-in route to video streaming. It always has been innovate or die; and when video on demand is the leading the internet, what better for a music app to add on. While tech giants like Apple and Alphabet were already on it, how big is really the challenge for Spotify to take on them? Or can it? Currently the app is available on both iOS and Android, and it has popular video content from ESPN, Maker Studios, BBC, Vice Media, and Comedy Central.
