ULtra-broadband subscribers including fiber, high-speed cable and VDSL will occupy a major chunk in the total connections in Latin America in the coming years.

25.6 million next gen broadband connections are expected by the end of the year representing 36% of the total access. This is according to Dataxis’s recent research.

This share is expected to continue to grow at around 75% of connections in 2022 comprising of 39% high-speed cable, 31% FTTH and 30% VDSL

As per estimates, fixed broadband subscribers will be 83.7 million by 2022.
