Youfone to launch an IPTV service in Netherlands

Dutch sim-only telco Youfone is planning to launch a new IPTV service in partnership with Huawei in Netherlands. The service is expected to come out by April next year offering live TV channels, video-on-demand, apps, games at a basic price of €10.

The basic package will be available via mobile apps, Apple TV, Chromecast and will include 20 TV channels. The VOD platform will have channels from Dutch public broadcaster NPO and commercial broadcasters RTL and SBS, including other seven-day catch-up services. The service will also have SVOD offering for a range of movies and series available at €2.50 a month.
