BBCWW inks OTT deal with Migu Video

BBC Worldwide (BBCWW) has inked a deal with Migu Video, the online video platform of China Mobile’. Through this deal, more than 2200 hours of BBC content will be added to the content catalog of Migu Video.

The OTT deal which marks BBCWW’s first collaboration with a Chinese telco will also see BBCWW providing platform to Migu Video with programmes available as AVOD and SVOD online, via mobile and IPTV.

Kelvin Yau, General Manager of Greater China at BBC Worldwide, quoted, “We are extremely pleased to be partnering with China Mobile’s Migu Video to be the first content partners to sign a direct deal for their video platform.  We look forward to working with them to build viewership and loyalty for BBC’s programmes on the service.”
