4G is rolling out in India at a fast pace. According to a report by Deloitte, the demand for online content will increase rapidly in the coming years. The report mentions, “4G will bring complete transformation of… television viewing experience and mark a shift in the control from the broadcaster to consumer. Further, low-cost smartphones bundled with low tariff will help in boosting the Internet usage in India over the coming years.”
OTT in India growing strong with local players like Zee, Hotstar, Sony, and others entering the market with their live and on-demand platforms.
