HOOQ, the video on demand platform announced on Wednesday its tie up with an Indian telco ACT Fibernet and the launch of its VOD service in the Hyderabad region in India. The company backed by Singtel, Sony, Warner Brothers puts a revenue sharing with ACT Fibernet and brigs its video on demand service to Indian audience for a month free.

The company already has a tie up with Airtel, and is forging partnerships with many content providers. HOOQ currently has 1 million subscribers and plans to expand into various different regions, starting India.
