FOX International Channels (FIC) has struck deals with leading networks across Asia to make its channels available in the region on an over-the-top (OTT) basis.
In what it calls an unprecedented move, FIC will offer multi-genre OTT video services with Avex in Japan, Tencent and its OTT partners in China, Astro in Malaysia and Cignal in the Philippines. These services range from subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) and linear streaming to catch-up, and will offer FIC’s content across all genres.
