According to a recent report by Parks Associates, bilingual Spanish speaking households with broadband subscriptions are more likely to pay for TV. The report states that some 89% of these households subscribe to Pay TV and above 75% subscribe to at least one OTT video service.

The key drive is the appeal of premium Hispanic movie channels. Around 41% of Spanish TV subscribers say that they have subscribed to TV because their choice of content is not available with other OTT video services. Services such as Sling Latino and Univision Now are very well catering to the needs of these Spanish speaking audiences.
