Comcast and Amazon are joining hands with Apple to develop a delivery system for offering premium VOD titles that are available for home viewing in as less as 30-45 days after debuting in theatres. This is less aggressive than some studios that might want to offer a system for delivery of VOD titles.

The suggested pricepoint is $30 which seems to modest and realistic and can lure more consumers to buy VOD titles.
As per insiders, Comcast, Apple and Amazon are in the process of developing a delivery system for PVOD titles which will include anti-piracy measures as well. Soon, a number of platforms, including major cable providers and digital players will also start offering PVOD.
