Samsung launched Samsung TV Plus as a streaming service that is now available to video on-demand viewers. The OTT Platform comes with 27 channels out of which 22 are global channels and the remaining 5 are domestic.
The Samsung TV Plus is available only for Samsung smart TV Models launched between 2017-2021. The functionality is similar to an Amazon Fire Stick where online viewers can access any OTT content via this smart TV.
This launch is a testament to the growing online video video subscribers which is set to hit more than 500 million by 2023.
